The CAD Designer will create and revise detailed mechanical drawings for data-center chiller components, collaborating closely with senior designers and engineers.

Responsibilities
Translate conceptual sketches and engineering notes into accurate drawings and models
Assist in developing part and assembly layouts for prototype and production chillers
Maintain and update the company’s design library and standard detail database
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing teams to clarify drawing intent and manufacturability
Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback from cross-functional stakeholders
Help generate and manage design BOMs and revision histories
Other job duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in Mechanical Design, Drafting, Industrial Design, or related field and/or co-op/intern experience or equivalent working experience
1 year of working experience in related field or co-op/intern experience
Hands-on experience (co-op or internship or working experience) with CAD tools (i.e. SolidWorks, Solid Edge, AutoCAD, Creo)
Familiarity with basic GD&T principles and mechanical drafting standards
Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and good teamwork skills
