Responsibilities

Troubleshoots and repairs hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical equipment, Programmable Logic Controller (PLCs), vision systems, and computer-controlled devices

Uses strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting production issues, while minimizing downtime

Performs preventative maintenance, following written schedules and procedures

Performs PLC and Human Machine Interface (HMI) troubleshooting using AB-Rockwell and Siemens software

Performs routine maintenance and inspections on dispensing and unit dose packaging equipment

Communicates with vendors and order materials, machine components and parts

Maintains and organizes spare parts inventory

Creates preventive maintenance programs to optimize and maintain equipment

Trains production operators/ employees as appropriate for set-ups, operation of equipment, etc

Responsible for safety compliance personally and with equipment

Participates in special projects and/or rebuilds

Other duties as assigned within job scope
