Responsibilities

This role is responsible for managing cloud infrastructure, automating deployment pipelines, ensuring system reliability, and supporting development teams in delivering scalable and secure applications

Architect and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP

Lead cloud migration initiatives and modernization of legacy systems

Define cloud governance, cost optimization strategies, and performance benchmarks

Design and maintain enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines for multiple environments

Champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation

Drive adoption of DevOps best practices across engineering teams

Oversee cloud operations including monitoring, incident response, disaster recovery, and capacity planning

Implement observability frameworks using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or New Relic

Lead root cause analysis and post-mortem processes for major incidents

Collaborate with InfoSec to enforce cloud security policies, IAM, encryption, and compliance standards (e.g., ISO, SOC2, GDPR)

Conduct regular audits and implement automated security checks in pipelines

Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement

Collaborate with software engineering, QA, and product teams to align infrastructure with business goals

Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and processes to improve efficiency
