Responsibilities
Provide shop floor support in daily problem solving activities
Identify and implement projects such as productivity and cost reduction projects in assigned area
Develop and maintain appropriate process documentation to support ISO 9000 Certification
Create job work instructions as requested on existing and incoming equipment
Develop and implement World Class Manufacturing Processes
Investigate, justify and implement capital equipment needs
Communicate company goals, objectives and philosophies to the workforce
Attend communication meetings
Follow Emerson Ethics and Safety Programs
Adhere to all Export, Import and Supply Chain Security Policy requirements relevant to the position
Follow State and Federal Environmental Compliance Programs
Adhere to ISO 9000 Standards
Job duties include but are not limited to the above
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an accredited technical school or college
1-2 years of experience
Minimal travel required
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & Power Point
Proficient with Internet
Above average verbal and written communication skills
Ability to get along with others
Can effectively function in a matrix and team environment
