Water/Wastewater Senior Engineer/Project Manager

Responsibilities
Lead impactful projects – Manage the design and development of municipal pumping stations, and wastewater treatment plants
Drive project success – Oversee scope, schedule, and budget while ensuring high-quality deliverables
Build client relationships – Identify new business opportunities and represent AECOM in client meetings and industry events
Guide & mentor teams – Supervise technical professionals and junior staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team
Expand AECOM’s influence – Participate in contract negotiations, prepare technical reports, and contribute to marketing efforts within the region
Be a thought leader – Stay engaged with industry trends and actively participate in professional societies
Qualification
Required
BA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Proven track record in municipal water/wastewater treatment design and project management
Demonstrated experience and knowledge in water conveyance, pumping systems and treatment processes
Demonstrated experience in managing teams, engaging clients and delivering successful projects
Experience in business development with identifying new opportunities and expanding service capabilities
Professional Engineering (PE) license in Florida or ability to obtain reciprocity within six (6) months of hire
Preferred
5+ years of Project Management Experience
Experience and familiarity with the following programs: ArcGIS, AutoCAD, REVIT, MicroStation, SWMM, and/or Storm/Sewer/WaterCAD
Experience working with local clients in Florida
Candidates must have proven interpersonal skills, including client interaction, public speaking, and persuasive ability; strong project financial management along with ability to lead diverse, multi-disciplined teams
