The Senior Officer, Retail Reporting will manage the reporting process for CRS and FATCA submissions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while supporting process improvements and automation efforts.

Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end reporting process for Common Reporting Standard (CRS) and Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) submissions to IRAS, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Ensure timely, accurate, and complete submission of CRS and FATCA reports, with strong attention to data integrity and reporting standards
Serve as the key contact within the bank for data extraction, transformation, and upload activities related to CRS and FATCA reporting
Perform data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy and completeness of reportable data prior to submission
Liaise with internal stakeholders to communicate and escalate material clarifications or discrepancies requested by IRAS
Conduct first-level investigations into IRAS queries and notices, and coordinate with relevant teams to prepare appropriate responses
Facilitate discussions across business units to resolve reporting issues and ensure alignment on regulatory matters
Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to automation efforts to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy

Required

Bachelor Degree in any discipline
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret, validate, and manage large datasets
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and regulatory compliance
Proactive, self-motivated, and resilient in managing complex regulatory requirements and deadlines

Preferred

A background in Finance, Accounting, or Data Analytics is advantageous
Prior experience in CRS and FATCA reporting or related regulatory reporting is preferred
Familiarity with data tools or reporting platforms (e.g., Excel, SQL, or similar) is a plus
