The role requires handling a high volume of reports with accuracy and efficiency while coordinating with team members and maintaining day-to-day bookkeeping.

Responsibilities

Prepare and update a large volume of monthly financial reporting packages
Coordinate with multiple team members to collect data, clarify questions, and ensure timely completion
Manage reporting workflows and deadlines across internal teams
Review all reports for consistency and accuracy
Work in Excel to adjust, format, and troubleshoot reports (intermediate Excel skills required)
Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping for internal accounts
Prepare and send invoices accurately
Record bank and credit card transactions weekly
Enter and allocate team member invoices to appropriate accounts or projects
Run regular AP and AR reports and track collections
Support month-end accounting workflows
Act as the central point of coordination for reporting and accounting processes
Communicate frequently with team members to gather missing information, clarify questions, and follow up on deadlines
Identify issues early and escalate when necessary to keep workflows on track

Required

Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, SUMIFS, data cleanup)
Experience managing high-volume recurring workflows with multiple dependencies
Strong communication skills; able to coordinate clearly and professionally with multiple team members
High attention to detail and accuracy in reporting
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively across competing deadlines
Basic understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
Experience with QuickBooks Desktop or similar accounting software
Comfortable working in a Slack-heavy environment

Preferred

Familiarity with reporting tools such as Reach Reporting or Fathom
Experience in job costing or allocating transactions across multiple projects or clients
Prior experience in an accounting or consulting firm
Experience preparing AP/AR reports and working within bank approval workflows
