The Senior Photo Retouching Generalist will work collaboratively to execute expert-level retouching and compositing across various categories, ensuring the delivery of best-in-class imagery for clients.

Responsibilities

Execute high-end retouching, color correction, and compositing across a range of visual styles and media
Collaborate closely with photographers, producers, and art directors to interpret creative intent, lead client reviews and deliver best-in-class imagery
Build and refine composites to support creative development and concept visualization
Integrate emerging tools - including AI-based image generation and enhancement models and CGI renders into retouching and ideation workflows where appropriate
Maintain consistent color management and output standards across digital and print deliverables
Oversee and uphold file structure, version control, and asset management protocols
Participate in quality control, routing, and release processes to ensure final deliverables meet all creative and technical standards
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines

Required

5+ years of professional retouching experience in a commercial studio or agency environment
Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Capture One
Strong working knowledge of AI Image-Gen tools and an understanding of how to blend traditional and AI-based workflows
Exceptional skin retouching skills that preserve natural texture and tone
A strong eye for composition, anatomy, and color
Excellent organization, communication, and collaboration skills
Experience managing complex file systems and adhering to structured workflow processes

Preferred

An illustration or fine arts background is a plus
Experience in multilayer CGI compositing
