Responsibilities
Linux support (Ubuntu/RHEL related products – IDM/Satellite/Centrify)
Hardware install/break/fix/troubleshoot – Dell/Cisco UCS/HPE
SAN/NAS (Pure/Isilon/Netapp)
Backup (Commvault/Datadomain)
Maintain customer-facing, mission-critical 24/7 production services
Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot operating systems, networks, and applications
Perform regularly scheduled maintenance and upgrades, including instance patching and replacement
Provide infrastructure-level support for Production, Development, and QA environments
Drive best practices for operational policies and procedures, including communication, change, and incident management
Participate in an on-call rotation
Writing deployment scripts, debugging application issues, and evaluating new technologies
Delivering 12x7 operations through a customer-focused approach, including responding to production alerts
Implementing system-level and application performance monitoring metrics using various monitoring tools like Elastic Search, Logic Monitor, etc
Qualification
Required
5 years of experience with Linux support (Ubuntu/RHEL related products – IDM/Satellite/Centrify)
5 years of experience with architecture for SAN/NAS (Pure/Isilon/NetApp)
5 years of experience with Virtualization (VMware/Nutanix/KVM) and Backup Software like Commvault
Good grasp of fundamental security concepts with hands-on experience in implementing security controls and compliance requirements
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work well in a dynamic, collaborative team environment
Working knowledge of risk management and standards
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related degree, required
