Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Sales Department
Set clear goals for team performance and drive results through effective leadership
Support inventory acquisition and merchandising strategies
Hire, onboard, train, and mentor sales consultants and desk managers
Improve customer satisfaction and retention by ensuring a world-class experience
Collaborate with fixed operations and F&I for maximum dealership efficiency
Monitor digital marketing efforts and ensure timely follow-up on all leads
Maintain compliance with all OEM and regulatory requirements
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience as a General Sales Manager at a franchised dealership
5+ years of total automotive retail experience, ideally in high-volume environments
Strong command of new and pre-owned operations, including inventory control and pricing
Proven track record of leading teams to meet and exceed sales volume and gross profit targets
Experience with desking deals, CRM/lead management, and digital retailing tools
A hands-on, team-first leader with a passion for coaching, accountability, and results
Knowledge of OEM programs and compliance processes
