Responsibilities

Oversee staff planning to deliver efficient, comprehensive, and cost-effective patient care

Evaluate patient behavior, responses, treatment plans in consultation with the healthcare team

Assist patients with navigating healthcare systems

Analyze health care plans

Coordinate with appropriate parties including command and other medical teams within the guidance provided by DHA

Required

Bachelor's or graduate/higher level degree: major study in an academic field related to the medical field, health sciences or allied sciences appropriate to the work of the position

One year of specialized experience which includes 1) developing cost-effective healthcare protocols, 2) performing evaluations on health care plans and resources, 3) and facilitating optimal patient outcomes by aligning treatment plans with best practices

Proof of U.S. Citizenship

Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration

One year trial/probationary period may be required

Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation

Secret clearance required

This position is subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations

Immunization screening is required. Hepatitis B immunization is required for all positions with direct patient contact

All Health Care Providers must be able to obtain and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) training and certification that is sponsored or endorsed by the American Heart Association (AHA)

A pre-placement medical examination is required

This position is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) subject to a pre-employment drug screening, and random testing thereafter
