Responsibilities
Review appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations
Set up and maintain code of accounts
Assist in the monthly accounting close procedures including proper period end cut-off and accounting close schedule
Close cooperation with Finance & Accounting in Korea HQ
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Assist with regulatory reporting as applicable
Support the preparation of annual business plan for Finance team
Support the system of Internal Control over accounting functions
Assist the external auditors with certain substantive auditing procedures
Research accounting issues for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Communicate with other departments to coordinate procedures
Respond to questions regarding external auditor’s review and year-end audit
Performs additional duties and special assignments as required
Support financial internal audit as needed basis
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or business required
Applicant must be detail oriented
Ability to deal with difficult, sensitive and confidential issues
Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office: Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required
Preferred
1 - 3 years of work experience in an accounting, treasury, or finance environment preferred
SAP experience is a plus
Bilingual (English, Korean) skills are a plus
