Engineering Technical Documentation Administrator
Cretex Medical is a leading contract manufacturer of precision components and assemblies for the medical device industry. The Engineering Technical Documentation Administrator will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation, supporting ERP system data entry, and collaborating with engineers to ensure accurate documentation for manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities
Create, update, and maintain Manufacturing Work Instructions (MWIs) to support manufacturing operations
Draft and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for engineering and quality processes
Write and format technical reports for engineering projects and investigations
Complete DCO/ECO documentation and implement changes to parts following DCO/ECO approval
Update technical documentation based on engineering changes and process improvements
Read, understand, follow, and draft work instructions and standard work
Create and maintain standard work for the ERP system
Collaborate with engineers to translate technical concepts into clear, accurate documentation
Provide backup support to the Documentation Specialist
Maintain file management structure and archive engineering documentation into various software systems or databases
Create and maintain manufactured parts within the ERP system
Verify operations, comments, programs, parameters, times, and materials for contract reviews
Assist manufacturing and quality engineers with updating parts within the ERP system
Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements
Partner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance
Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve
Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly
Work on various projects assigned by the engineering team
Participate in required company meetings and the Operational Excellence Program
Maintain an organized work area (5S)
Complete all other work duties as assigned in a manufacturing environment
Qualification
Required
1+ years experience working with engineering documentation in a manufacturing environment
Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong technical writing skills with ability to create clear, concise documentation
Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in technical documentation
Organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts
