Responsibilities
Develop and compare alternative layouts or designs for the current and future Unmanned Systems (UxSs) in PMS 406's portfolio
Consideration of structural, mechanical, and hydraulic features
Working on preliminary designs and specifications and evaluating changes in design and performance which affect UxSs prior to and during production
Reviewing new approaches to circuitry and power distribution or incorporation of automatic self-test methods in equipment design
Qualification
Required
At least 10 years of relevant professional experience
Top Secret Security Clearance
Bachelor's level degree in an Engineering Discipline or Industrial Design
Preferred
15 or more years of professional experience in mechanical, structural, or electrical/electronic design
