Responsibilities
Actively prospect and solicit new corporate business to drive revenue for both hotels
Make sales appointments and cold calls to consistently identify and close new accounts across all direct sales segments
Host clients for site visits, personalized tours, and exclusive entertainment events to demonstrate the value of our properties
Monitor the production of all top accounts, analyzing trends, and adjusting strategies to maximize hotel performance
Collaborate with the revenue management team to create and implement sales strategies that optimize hotel yield
Lead and participating in daily and weekly sales meetings to ensure alignment and success across all initiatives
Implement special promotions and participating in sales blitzes to boost direct sales efforts
Ensure all interactions with guests and colleagues are conducted in an attentive, friendly, and service-oriented manner
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
3+ years of hands-on hotel sales and leadership experience
Proven success in outside sales with a strong ability to generate new business
A high school diploma or equivalent is required
Must be proficient with Windows operating systems and sales software
Must have valid driver's license for applicable state and an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Record)
Preferred
Director-level experience is preferred
A 2 to 4-year college degree is a plus
