Responsibilities

Be a driving force in the success of the company’s goals by achieving and exceeding individual sales quota
Become an expert in PlanSource’s product offerings, industry trends, and how to position our value to both partners and employer groups
Build and maintain a high-performance sales pipeline; document and manage sales activities, opportunities, pipeline, and revenue forecasts in PlanSource’s CRM
Build, manage, and generate new business within a book of named partner accounts
Conduct competitive research and maintain knowledge of competitor products
Deepen strategic relationships with key partners to drive partner revenue growth within a specific geographic territory
Develop and execute strategic business plans in partnership with insurance brokers and other benefits professionals, with a focus on growing new revenue
Increase PlanSource awareness and preference within book of named partner accounts
Travel to partner and client sites, perform discovery sessions, and work with Solutions Consultants to coordinate demonstrations and present solutions tailored to the prospective client
Use value selling strategies to determine client and partner needs; communicate effectively and professionally
Work with Solutions Consultants and VP of Sales to develop quotes and produce contracts for potential clients

Required

5+ years of relevant sales experience (ideally Ben Admin experience)
Ability to travel up to 50%
Ability to work in a fast-paced, remote team environment with a cadence of delivering quarterly results
Experience with Salesforce.com, PowerPoint, Word, and web-based presentation technology
High energy and positive attitude. Activity and results driven
Hunter, new business mentality and self-starter
Knowing or having successful experience in channel sales
Persuasive speaking skills and persistent with follow-up
Proven ability to execute a thorough sales discovery as well as follow a consultative sales process
Strong financial acumen related to product pricing, customer profitability and achieving sales goals
Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20%) in past positions

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business or Business Administration preferred
HR, benefits and/or payroll industry experience preferred
