Responsibilities
Learn the basics of the credit business
Participate in the operation of the business
Spend time in the warehouse
Work on the sales counter
Ride with delivery drivers
Shadow operations staff
Visit and/or lead meetings with customers
Learn the technical aspects of the extension of trade credit
Understand systems and processes
Develop emotional intelligence
Gain understanding of the sales process
Manage collections
Handle credit management tasks
Build customer relations and conduct visitations
Learn about secondary security
Understand the Uniform Commercial Code
Analyze financial statements
Qualification
Required
0-3 years work experience post bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree
Ability and desire to work in a fast paced, customer service driven company with a strong desire to enter a career credit development program
Strong communication and interpersonal skills including face-to-face conversations, conversations by phone, and presenting in front of groups
Ability to build relationships with high emotional intelligence and people skills is a must
Willingness to learn and be part of a team!
Ability to be open to living in a new location and being adventurous is required!
