The PET/CT Research Collaboration Scientist will support scientific collaborations and drive research results, while also fostering relationships with key opinion leaders and contributing to product development initiatives.
Responsibilities
Supporting scientific collaborations at luminary institutions and driving collaborative research results leading to impactful publications, external grant applications, and/or patent applications
Driving the publication of results at conferences and in world-class journals
Identifying, building, and foster strong collaborative relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the region
Supporting the future PET/CT product development pipeline – coordinating both with internal development teams and research partners for the development, comprehensive evaluation, and testing of prototypes and new products
Keeping customers and collaboration partners informed and up to date about United Imaging’s technologies
Execute research contracts with support from legal, regulatory, and compliance
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. or equivalent experience in Medical Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Nuclear Engineering, or related fields
A strong clinical and/or technical background in the field of PET/CT with a proven track record of scientific publications
Familiarity with one or more of the following areas of expertise: kinetic modeling; PET data acquisition/corrections; image reconstruction; artificial intelligence
Proven ability in driving research projects, clinical trials, and collaborative studies
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Professional proficiency in written and spoken English
Willing and able to travel up to 50% including short term international trips
