Responsibilities

Lead and manage all phases of application road map, architecture design and life cycle for post-trade application systems, and carry out review of associated deliverables and evolution in adherence to standards and policies

Set, interpret and drive strategic direction, and deliver technology that meets post trade business requirements

Plan, review and implement system development and technical delivery through requirement definition with key business stakeholders, collaboration with other application teams and infrastructure team on common system and architecture impact, as well as exercise vendor management where appropriate

Oversee production support for core mission critical systems to attain robust system availability

Foster continuous technology advancement and development of the department, as well as lead people management agenda including performance management and development

Undertake assignments and projects as assigned by department head

Required

Degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT or related disciplines

At least over 15 years' relevant experience, of which at least 10 years at management level

Strong leadership skills and capabilities in managing complex IT agenda across diverse stakeholders from senior IT leaders, specialist, to business and operations leaders

Ability to define solutions that solve complex business problems

Solid experience in managing and developing large scale mission critical systems on open platform

Knowledge of industry-wide technology strategies and best practices

Knowledge of risk and controls landscape, ensuring company-wide standards are met

Keen understanding of project control and budget management

Strong interpersonal, communication, managerial and people management skills

Experienced in motivating large organization and teams
