Responsibilities
Lead design, modeling, and extraction of financial data from SAP BW and SAP BPC Consolidation models
Deeply understand and explain consolidation processes and forecast eliminations, intercompany eliminations, and currency translation logic
Work hands-on in building BEx Queries, Composite Providers, ADSOs, and related artifacts in SAP BW/4HANA
Extract and stage data from BPC and BW using SAP BODS (BusinessObjects Data Services) for further downstream analytics and modeling
Translate financial planning and consolidation outputs into KPIs and dashboard elements consumable by the CEO, CFO, and division controllers
Design and validate financial data flows from SAP into Snowflake and downstream Power BI dashboards
Lead dashboard requirement sessions with senior stakeholders, ensuring reporting aligns with internal finance and investor standards
Collaborate with Snowflake architects and data engineers to ensure robust and scalable financial data models
Coordinate with Power BI development teams to deliver visually compelling and semantically accurate dashboards
Work with the Accounting, FP&A, and Business Controllers to validate financial numbers, reconciliations, and business rules
Qualification
Required
10+ years of SAP BW experience including modeling, data extraction, and performance optimization
2+ years of SAP BPC Consolidations experience, including ownership of intercompany eliminations, currency conversion, ownership management, and consolidation monitor
Deep understanding of forecast eliminations and the full consolidation lifecycle
Expertise in SAP HANA native views and integrating HANA models with BW layers
Strong experience with SAP BODS for ETL, particularly for BPC-to-Snowflake pipelines
Strong financial domain knowledge — P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, EBITDA, Revenue Recognition, etc
Demonstrated experience working with C-level executives and division controllers in a corporate setting
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills
SAP BW/4HANA
SAP BPC (Consolidation, Planning optional but nice to have)
SAP BODS (ETL)
SAP HANA Modeling
Snowflake (awareness and collaboration with Snowflake engineers)
Power BI (user-level familiarity to collaborate with visualization teams)
Strategic mindset with the ability to see the big picture and translate it into actionable data initiatives
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a commitment to data quality
Self-driven and capable of leading initiatives with minimal supervision
Preferred
Experience in Manufacturing or Industrial sectors with an understanding of operational KPIs
Familiarity with SEC reporting, GAAP-compliant consolidation, or other regulatory requirements
Experience with SAP Datasphere, Group Reporting, or SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) is a plus
