Senior Solution Consultant

Responsibilities
Leads end-to-end demonstrations for complex enterprise deals, aligning technology strategy with business objectives and influencing C-level stakeholders
Applies deep domain knowledge and technical proficiency to architect innovative solutions, anticipate risks, and deliver high-impact, scalable outcomes
Deliver dynamic, tailored product demonstrations to prospective and existing customers, with a focus on showcasing the business value of Zone applications initially centered around AP automation, reporting, and payroll, with the ability to scale expertise across additional product lines over time
Partner closely with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to define solution strategies that align with prospect objectives, finance team workflows, and industry-specific needs
Lead and contribute to discovery calls to surface critical operational pain points, helping shape a customized demo strategy and inform solution design
Develop and maintain demo environments that reflect real-world customer use cases and ensure all environments are continuously updated with new product releases, configurations, and messaging
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Professional Services to ensure a unified pre-sales experience and seamless post-sale handoff
Create and maintain enablement materials such as demo scripts, videos, solution briefs, and internal documentation to support consistent messaging and sales team readiness
Participate in responses to RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires, ensuring timely and accurate technical input in collaboration with Sales and Product leadership
Contribute to internal feedback loops by reporting back field insights, competitive trends, and common objections to inform ongoing product development and go-to-market strategy
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in solution consulting, pre-sales, financial systems consulting, or related SaaS roles; exceptional candidates with 4+ years of relevant experience will be considered if strong finance or ERP expertise
Familiarity with core finance and accounting workflows, particularly accounts payable, payroll, and reporting processes
Hands-on experience with ERP or financial systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Workday, Oracle, Intacct, Tipalti, Ramp, or Stampli
Strong presentation, storytelling, and written communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging for both technical and executive-level audiences
Proven consultative and problem-solving mindset, with a track record of building trust and credibility with stakeholders
Ability to thrive in a high-growth, fully remote, global SaaS environment with strong self-motivation and collaboration skills
Flexibility to travel across US for client meetings, workshops, and industry events
