Testek Solutions is a leader in Aerospace and Aircraft Component Test Equipment, located in Wixom, Michigan. They are currently seeking a machinist/machining inspector to use measuring tools for inspection, operate various machining equipment, and assist in fixture assembly.

Responsibilities

This position would include the use of measuring tools for inspection purposes. For example: calipers, micrometers, bore gauges & indicators
Must be familiar with the use of a vertical (Bridgeport style) mill, machine lathe, surface grinder and drill press for machining modifications required on some supplier parts
Would be expected to assemble fixtures which include blocks, shafts, plates, & bearings per detailed fixture drawings​
This position could be expected to assist in the preparation and packaging of spare parts and test stand shipments as required
Will be using our ERP system
Able to operate electric & propane powered fork lifts

Required

Some trade school education or previous on the job training or experience in fixture assembly
