Director of Sales - West Coast/Canada

The Director of Sales - West is responsible for driving revenue performance and executing strategic initiatives to grow sales and market share in the Western United States and Canada, focusing on relationship-building and optimizing guest experiences.

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of key account partners and continue to expand the portfolio by determining growth opportunities. Develop comprehensive action plans in alignment with defined company objectives and sales strategies
Ensure the execution of strategic, co-op and training plans to achieve long-term objectives while adapting to evolving marketing conditions
Align and collaborate with Aman sales team and internal resources to achieve desired outcomes. avoid duplication and drive revenue and partner satisfaction
Monitor sales revenue, analyze performance data and collaborate with colleagues in Revenue Management to optimize pricing and revenue strategies
Coordinate and attend Industry and Trade events to represent Aman at Sea and to grow our presence in the market
Leverage events to identify new business opportunities and enhance brand visibility
Manage T&E/Opex and Marketing Budgets to maximize sales and control expenses
Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and optimize sales strategies
Effectively manage a large Sales Territory, maintaining and growing relationships, problem-solving and effectively communicating with Aman at Sea HQ
Provide updates to Aman at Sea Leadership, sharing insights on current performance, forecasting trends and recommending strategies and operational innovations to increase sales and drive customer satisfaction
Partner with Marketing to effectively create Co-Op Marketing plans that support the Company’s goals and vision

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent, Business, Marketing, Hotel/Hospitality Management
Minimum 7+ years of sales experience in a luxury cruise line, travel or hospitality environment
Proven Track Record of success in leisure sales within the travel/tourism industry
A complete understanding of selling, forecasting and managing the Western U.S. and Western Canada Travel Trade environment
Highly motivated individual who can work independently
Flexibility to work non-standard and extended work hours and to travel 25+ percent
