Property Supervisor - Bilingual: English & Spanish

They are seeking a passionate and experienced Property Supervisor to manage a portfolio of affordable housing residential properties, ensuring successful operations and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple affordable housing properties, including leasing, maintenance, budgeting, and tenant relations
Ensure compliance with affordable housing regulations, including HUD, LIHTC, and other federal, state, and local programs
Develop and implement strategies to maximize occupancy, minimize turnover, and maintain rental affordability for residents
Provide guidance and support as needed to the Property Manager and staff of each property
Cultivate positive relationships with residents, community partners, and regulatory agencies to address concerns, resolve issues, and promote resident engagement and empowerment
Monitor property financial performance, prepare budgets, and oversee rent collection and delinquency management processes
Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to implement resident services and programs that enhance the quality of life for our residents
Qualification
Required
High school diploma/GED
Eight years' experience in successfully overseeing and managing section 8, tax credit and other subsidized housing programs
Tax Credit Certification, Accredited Residential Management and Leasing License required
Five years of supervisory experience with a proven record of motivating and managing property management teams
Bilingual in Spanish is required
Success in turning around properties
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong financial analysis experience
Experience working with governmental and community representatives
Vehicle, Driver's License, and insurance is required
Preferred
College degree in Business or related field a plus
Good computer skills including working knowledge of MS Office Suite and property management software/systems preferred (Boston Post, Yardi or MRI)
