Responsibilities
The Data Storage Administrator is responsible for the configuration, management, and support of the organization's storage infrastructure
This role focuses on the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of storage systems and backup solutions to ensure data integrity, availability, and recoverability across all platforms
The administrator will support both on-premises and cloud-integrated storage systems and will work closely with system, virtualization, and network teams to ensure seamless data flow and protection
Qualification
Required
Associate degree in IT or related field (or 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree)
Familiarity with scripting and automation tools
Experience with server hardware (Cisco UCS preferred) and Windows/Linux OS
Experience with vendor platforms such as Cohesity, Pure Storage, Veeam
Understanding of data protection, snapshot, and replication technologies
Preferred
A+, Server+
Microsoft-related certificates
Associate-level Backup/Storage related certificates
