Responsibilities

Lead part or whole technology and product development efforts to deliver future filtration technologies for a wide range of bioprocessing applications

Analyze the problems, evaluate novel technologies and concepts at bench and pilot scale, conceptualize a technical path forward, scale-up to manufacturing process, and/or commercialize new products

Apply solid scientific and engineering principles as well as institutional knowledge, to solve complex scientific and engineering problems

Utilize independent thought in order to achieve project goals

Conduct some travel domestically and internationally (10-30%)

Required

Bachelors in Chemical Engineering, Material Science or other Science or Engineering field with 5+ years of experience in membrane development

Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science or other Science or Engineering field with 3+ years of experience in membrane development

PhD in Chemical Engineering, Material Science or other Science or Engineering field with 1+ years of experience in membrane development

Preferred

In-depth knowledge and experience in polymer membrane making, characterization, and application

Demonstrated track record of filtration membrane related innovation and problem-solving

Demonstrated technical leadership and solved complicated technical problems

Experience with membrane modification/development

Result oriented with unwavering resolve to meet project timelines and customer needs

Capable to work collaboratively with different functions within and outside of the company

Technical expertise in designing and conducting experiments in laboratory or manufacturing setting with good trouble shooting and statistical analysis skills

Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate technical information to different parts of the organization

Experience in IP assessment, patent filing, and technical publication/external presentation
