Responsibilities
Structure financing deals to meet the needs of customers while ensuring dealership profitability
Present and sell financing, extended warranties, insurance products, and other aftermarket options in a transparent and ethical manner
Secure approvals through lenders and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions
Review and ensure accuracy of all sales and financing paperwork to guarantee compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of available finance programs, insurance offerings, and dealership policies
Collaborate with the sales team to achieve department and dealership sales goals
Protect the dealership by ensuring all transactions are handled ethically and in line with compliance standards
Monitor and report on department performance, including penetration rates, profit margins, and customer satisfaction scores
Provide training and guidance to sales staff regarding finance and insurance processes
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in automotive dealership F&I or finance-related role
Strong knowledge of finance laws, regulations, and dealership compliance requirements
Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
Ability to build strong lender relationships and secure competitive financing options
Proficient in dealership management software (DMS), credit bureau systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
Preferred
Track record of exceeding sales and profitability goals
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
