Staging Dimensions is a custom manufacturing company located in New Castle, DE, seeking a well-rounded Lead Fabricator to head up their CNC Department. The candidate will be responsible for CNC programming, operation of CNC Vertical Mills, and overseeing machine operators while ensuring high production quality.

Responsibilities

CNC programming, set up & operation of CNC Vertical Mills for standard & custom parts
Set-up and break-down of machining centers as well as scheduling PM and cleaning
Knowledge of trouble shooting machines
Create schedules for machining centers based on production schedule
Train and oversee machine operators
Must be familiar with steel and aluminum
Work on other shop equipment such as manual mills, press-brake, saws, lathe, drills, etc
Draw, read and interpret prints, plans, sketches, and shop drawings
Work with designers and management to achieve customers' satisfaction
Maintain a high level of production while maintaining quality
Responding to quick turnaround orders; Some overtime required
Performing well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
Maintain clean equipment and work area
Forklift certified preferred
Perform related duties, as assigned

Required

Trade school graduate, or equivalent
5+ years of programming experience with CNC Vertical Machining Centers
Knowledge of Auto CAD and/or Solidworks
Strong knowledge of shop practices and skill in using shop tools and equipment
Ability to ACCURATELY read tape measure & blueprints and translate into fabricated products using fractions & decimal place
Must have reliable transportation
Sufficient strength and physical dexterity to perform related duties and responsibilities of this job, including lifting up to 75 lbs

Preferred

Forklift certified preferred
Knowledge of wood & Plexiglas a plus
Experience with Laminates and veneers a plus
