Account Manager Weather - ISV

As an Account Manager in the weather division, you will manage client accounts in the aviation sector, focusing on building relationships, identifying new opportunities, and driving revenue growth through strategic consulting and innovative solutions.

Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned aviation accounts
Build strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a strategic consultant
Maintain a deep understanding of client needs, challenges, and business objectives
Build strong, meaningful Territory & Account Plans
Provide proactive recommendations, introducing new solutions that add value and drive engagement
Have a deep understanding of weather
Ensure customer satisfaction and retention by delivering top-notch service and innovative solutions
Identify need to bring in additional DTN expertise and solution engineer resources to for ongoing account expansion
Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to expand account value
Conduct regular business reviews with clients to uncover unmet needs
Strategically introduce new products, services, and solutions that align with client goals
Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to optimise client offerings
Negotiate contract renewals above a set threshold, ensuring continued success and profitability
Continuously analyse accounts for new business opportunities, leveraging industry insights and customer feedback
Identify potential referrals, partnerships, and expansions within existing accounts
Stay ahead of industry trends to recommend solutions that differentiate DTN
Qualification
Required
5 years of experience in software and/or SaaS sales
5+ years of experience in account management, consultative sales, or B2B client relations
Strong understanding of the aviation and weather industries
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Proven ability to drive revenue growth through cross-selling and upselling
Self-motivated, with a strategic mindset and proactive approach to account management
Proficiency in SFDC for tracking leads and managing pipeline
A consultative and professional approach to engaging with customers
Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstance
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Sales preferred; or equivalent experience
