Mid, Senior LevelVSP Vision Care is seeking an Optometrist to join the well-respected Stockton Optometry and Downtown Optometry practices in Stockton, California. The role involves conducting eye exams, managing ocular conditions, and providing patient education while contributing to the growth of the practice with potential ownership opportunities.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive eye exams for patients of all ages
Manage a diverse range of ocular conditions, including myopia, keratoconus, dry eye, and Glaucoma, if you are certified
Fit specialty lenses, including scleral lenses
Provide patient education on eye health, treatment options, and preventative care
Collaborate with a supportive team to deliver high-quality care
Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to enhance patient care, including OCT, Topography, and Slit-Lamp imaging systems
Contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the practice, with potential for future ownership
Qualification
Required
Active Optometry license in the state of California
Experience with myopia management
Proficient in scleral lens fittings
Knowledge of dry eye treatments, including IPL and LLLT
Comfortable working with specialty contact lenses
Preferred
Spanish Fluency (Preferred): The ability to conduct exams in Spanish would be a plus
