Responsibilities
You will be on a team of passionate, talented engineers that are building critical features in Cloudflare One’s Zero Trust security platform
This team spearheads a variety of innovative new product features across the whole product portfolio, and directly collaborates with many engineering teams while doing so
As an engineer on the team, you bring passion for building mission critical products and features, while thinking about the bigger picture of how your code will impact customers and advance their needs
You thrive in a fast-paced iterative engineering environment and have experience in delivering scalable distributed systems
You’ll be joining a team of bright, knowledge-seeking engineers who are truly missionaries in solving the security and networking challenges for our customers
Qualification
Required
5 to 7+ years of professional experience building and managing reliable and performant software systems at scale, preferably with technologies like: Go, Rust, Python, Typescript, Postgres, Clickhouse, Kafka, etc
Passion for making the digital world a more secure place
Excellent debugging and optimization skills
Willingness, curiosity, and enthusiasm to learn new programming languages, technologies and systems
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Caring and empathy are coveted traits here!
Preferred
Frontend programming experience in Typescript/Javascript
Previous experience working on security products
