They are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer for the Space Force MUOS Program, responsible for solving complex systems problems and working on real-time embedded projects.

Required

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field

Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience

U.S. citizenship required

Ability to obtain or hold a DoD Secret clearance (preferred at time of hire)

Experience in software engineering, with a focus on real-time embedded systems

Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++

Strong understanding of UML and experience with model-based design

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Experience with software development tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps)

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred

Agile experience preferred

Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS)

Familiarity with hardware interfaces and protocols

Knowledge of cellular telecommunications protocols and systems (UMTS) a plus
