Key Account Manager

Responsibilities

Manage and develop relationships with assigned key accounts to maximize sales opportunities and strengthen partnerships
Assist in developing and implementing account strategies in collaboration with the Sales Manager
Identify new sales opportunities within existing key accounts and coordinate with internal teams to meet customer needs
Prepare and deliver project information to the apps department and assist in the development of quotes and proposals, in a timely and professional manner
Maintain detailed records of account interactions, opportunities, and forecasts in Hubspot
Collaborate with Operations and Service teams to ensure seamless project delivery and ongoing support
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies
Support pricing negotiations and contract discussions under the counsel of the Sales Manager
Participate in regular account review meetings, both internally and with customers
Represent the company at trade shows, customer events, and industry functions as needed
Continuously improve product knowledge through internal training and vendor resources
Responsible for meeting or exceeding sales targets within assigned accounts
Assist with margin management on key account projects and orders

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, business or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or account management
Experience preferably in the automation, industrial controls, or manufacturing sector

Negotiation skills
Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident/Green Card holder
