The role involves working with project teams on various civil engineering projects, creating plans and applications for land development while collaborating with clients and local government.

Responsibilities
Work with project teams to create permitting and construction plans
Earth disturbance permit applications
Municipal zoning and land development applications
Designing site layouts and grading
Erosion and sedimentation controls
Storm water management facilities
Site utilities
Interact with clients, contractors, and local government officials
Execute projects with Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers
Impact the whole project from conceptual and design phases through the regulatory review process, bidding, and construction
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Civil Engineering (M.S. a plus)
Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to learn new skills and work in a team setting
Applicants must be legally authorized to work for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in the U.S. without sponsorship
Preferred
Previous internship preferred
E.I.T. certification preferred
Familiarity with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, HydroCAD, or Storm Sewers a plus
