New Grad, Entry LevelNordson Medical is a global leader in Interventional Solutions and is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector I to join their team. The role involves testing and inspecting in-process materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.

Responsibilities
Test, inspect, package and label in process and finished products as designated
Perform visual inspection as per customer requirement and/or per Nordson MEDICAL standard
Communicate (if any) required adjustment to production operators and supervisor based on measurement tests and visual inspection results
Document inspection results into quality database according to procedures and work instructions
Perform Melt Flow testing as designated
Test and inspect incoming raw materials as designated
Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions, report any non-working or out of calibration equipment to Quality supervision or compliance coordinator
Assist with training for new and/or existing Quality Inspectors
Perform other duties as required by quality management including but not limited to rework, filing, special testing etc. Verify labels and documentation as designated
Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Ability to read and document required specs and measurements
Ability to communicate well in person, in writing, and by telephone with customers and other company personnel
Ability to read small print and to see at normal distances
Ability to write clearly and legibly
Preferred
Experience in Quality System Management, preferred
Experience in manual and computer-based documentation control and development
