Responsibilities
Lead a small team of 2–3 engineers while remaining hands-on in development
Drive engineering efforts and code ownership across critical product areas, ensuring a smooth, reliable, and bug-free customer experience
Collaborate closely with PMs, customers, and cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities and deliver high-impact solutions
Set and uphold high standards for usability, code quality, and technical excellence, guiding the team to build scalable and user-friendly experiences
Qualification
Required
10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 5+ years working with modern JavaScript frameworks
Expert in JavaScript, React.js, and GraphQL, with a proven track record of delivering production-grade features at scale
Experience leading small engineering teams, balancing hands-on coding with mentoring and technical guidance
Care deeply about usability, accessibility, and performance, and have successfully shipped customer-facing UI/UX improvements
Excel at cross-functional collaboration, working closely with PMs, designers, and stakeholders to deliver intuitive, high-quality user experiences
Preferred
Experience with TypeScript and strong typing practices
Background in design systems or component libraries, with an eye for scalable, reusable UI patterns
Familiarity with navigation and information architecture design for complex applications
Exposure to SaaS growth and expansion flows (sign-up, licensing, in-app guides, surveys)
Knowledge of telemetry, analytics, and experimentation frameworks to measure and improve user experience
