Responsibilities
Perform advanced disassembly, inspection, balancing, repair, and reassembly of industrial turbochargers
Conduct troubleshooting, diagnostics, and failure analysis
Execute field service work at customer sites and remote support as needed
Prepare accurate service reports, failure findings, and documentation
Ensure full compliance with safety, quality, and ISO/AIMS standards
Provide support and mentoring to Service Engineer I & II team members
Maintain strong customer communication and identify potential service opportunities
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined or elevated spaces
Comfortable around industrial machinery, heat, and noise
Ability to travel domestically/internationally as needed
Qualification
Required
High school diploma required
6+ years of turbocharger or rotating equipment service experience
Proven ability to independently complete field service jobs
Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and balancing skills
Excellent communication and customer-service skills
Willingness to travel and work in industrial environments
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined or elevated spaces
Comfortable around industrial machinery, heat, and noise
Preferred
Technical degree preferred
Knowledge of RCA, NDT, and failure reporting preferred
