Human Resources Specialist (Senior Advisor)

Responsibilities
Preparing and delivering high-level briefings, presentations, and reports to senior leadership, stakeholders, and external partners on human resources initiatives, challenges, and accomplishments
Representing CBP at interagency meetings, conferences, and working groups, providing technical expertise and advocating for CBP's talent management priorities
Communicating complex human resources concepts effectively ensuring clarity and alignment with CBP's mission and the Talent Management Directorate's driving force of staffing CBP with a mission-ready workforce
Leading or participating in special projects and initiatives across all divisions of the Talent Management Directorate (TMD), including efforts related to human resources modernization, workforce planning, recruitment, and operational efficiency
Advising senior leadership on human resources issues impacting CBP's workforce, offering strategic recommendations to support organizational priorities and mission-critical

Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered with Selective Service
Primary U.S. residency for at least three of the last five years

Creating and delivering executive-level briefings and strategic reports that shape organizational priorities, resources decisions and talent management strategies
Leading enterprise process redesign and improvement initiatives to strengthen efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness across HR operations
Directing projects and HR modernization, workforce planning, and recruitment initiatives that enhance CBP's talent management capabilities and operational efficiency
Providing strategic counsel to senior leadership on workforce risks, opportunities, and HR policy implications to advance mission-ready staffing objectives
