Responsibilities

Create compelling social media content that highlights our employer partners, apprentices, and alumni across platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
Conduct interviews with employer partners, apprentices, and graduates to capture authentic stories and insights
Own end-to-end video production, including planning, scripting, shooting, editing, and delivering polished content
Write high-quality captions, short-form articles, and storytelling copy that reflects the professionalism and mission of Flatiron School
Collaborate with the Employer Partnerships teams to align on messaging, content themes, and campaign needs
Track content performance and contribute ideas to improve reach, engagement, and storytelling impact

Required

1–3 years of experience in social media content creation, video production, journalism, marketing, or a related field
Strong video skills with the ability to independently script, film, and edit short-form and long-form content
Excellent written communication and storytelling skills across formats
Ability to interview subjects on-camera or off-camera, creating a comfortable and engaging environment
A portfolio of video and written work that demonstrates creativity, technical ability, and digital storytelling
Comfort working remotely, managing deadlines, and operating with a high degree of independence
Application must include a link to see examples of your published content work

Preferred

Interest in education, workforce development, or tech is a plus (but not required)
