Required

Applicants must have received a PhD in Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field by the start date of the position
They must have experience in one or more of our four research pillars: biomedical imaging and devices, computational biomedicine, biomaterials and nanomedicine, and neurotechnology and computational neuroscience
The candidate should have demonstrated potential for excellence and productivity in Bioengineering related research
A commitment to high-quality teaching

Preferred

Applicants in all areas of Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering and related areas will be given full consideration
We are particularly interested in candidates in the areas of biomedical imaging and devices, computational biomedicine, biomaterials and nanomedicine, and neurotechnology and computational neuroscience and with experience in computational and/or experimental research within the fields of microfluidics, 3D bioprinting, cell and tissue engineering, bioreactor engineering, biomanufacturing, mechanobiology, neuromechanics, sensorimotor integration, neuromodulation, soft robotics, biomedical and rehabilitation robotics, medical imaging, and biosensing
Strong candidates from other areas are encouraged to apply and will be also considered
Ability to build collaborations with other departments within the College and across the University
Teaching experience and a record of peer-reviewed publications
