Provide administrative support and assistance to Law Department colleagues, including rotation reception duties

Reception area/phone responsibilities

Processing mail

Processing authorizations

Closing files

Ordering/downloading records

Bookmarking medical records

Knowledge of New York E-filing

Serving discovery responses and pleading with the court

Other tasks as assigned and may vary depending on team assignments

Required

Office environment experience

Strong customer service background

Accurate typing skills

Accurate and efficient in an electronic environment

Preferred

Legal office environment experience

Knowledge of legal and medical terminology, local and state rules regarding pleadings and pre-trial matters, deadlines, and filing requirements

Experience with medical records collection through subpoenas and/or authorizations

Experience with New York E-filing
