Responsibilities
Provides exceptional customer service by providing information and assisting with Federal Veterans Administration (VA) forms and education benefits to current and prospective students
Assists students in completion of the VA application while maintaining confidentiality. Submits forms to the Veterans Administration
Scans submitted documents into the college system
Communicates with VA on behalf of student with specific benefit-related issues
Participates in outreach events to promote student success and completion
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school education or an equivalent required
An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered
Strong computer and customer service skills
Ability to work with students, faculty and staff
Preferred
One year office experience preferred
Experience with VA/GI Bill benefits strongly preferred
