Pitch and produce engaging, original stories that resonate with football fans in the UK and beyond
Work under tight deadlines and submit assignments on time
Collaborate with editors and incorporate feedback effectively
Follow GiveMeSport’s editorial style guide and uphold its journalistic standards
Qualification
Required
Educational background in journalism, media, or a related field
At least 2 years of experience covering football, preferably with a focus on English clubs or competitions
Strong understanding of Premier League football, player narratives, tactics, transfers, and fan culture
Ability to write fast, accurate, and opinionated content with a distinctive voice
Familiarity with SEO best practices and traffic-focused content strategy
Passion for football and deep knowledge of the sport's landscape in England
