Cochise County is seeking a Temporary, Part-Time Custodian/Mail Clerk to perform service work of routine difficulty in custodial and mail service duties. The role involves cleaning and maintaining County facilities, processing and delivering interdepartmental mail, and identifying repair needs.

Required

Six months of related experience
Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona Driver's License
Ability to be covered by county insurance
Some knowledge of procedures, materials, and equipment used in custodial work
Some knowledge of occupational hazards and required preventative measures
Some knowledge of basic clerical related functions
Ability to maintain safety and cleaning standards
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other agencies, and the public
Ability to read, write and speak English
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Ability to follow verbal and written instruction
Ability to perform manual labor
Ability to deliver and pick up mail in various locations
Ability to drive county vehicle
Ability to work out-of-doors under varying weather conditions
Ability to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently
Ability to kneel, crouch/squat, crawl, climb, stoop, turn/twist, balance, reach, or handle
Utilizes memory for details and verbal instructions
Requires emotional stability, critical thinking and adaptability
Creative problem-solving skills are important
