Responsibilities
You will understand business requirements, troubleshoot and solution creatively, communicate effectively with peers, and deliver and support software solutions that meet customers’ needs is critical. A ‘can do’ attitude is a must
You will do analysis of application/customer requirements
You will develop product catalogs in VB.NET and possibly some application development in C#. If you have the ability to look into other languages such as CS that would be a big plus!
You will complete projects with some guidance, within given timeframes, and with acceptable levels of rework
You will be responsible for communication with internal and external stakeholders of varying technical aptitude to gather requirements, engineer solutions, and explicate constraints
You are responsible for accurate and punctual time management and time tracking of projects
You will develop in Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio
You will be responsible for in depth troubleshooting and debugging, with the ability to clearly formulate good/better/best remediation options
Qualification
Required
You have a bachelor's degree in computer science (or equivalent), or equivalent professional experience
You have at least 2+ years of object-oriented programming in a professional environment preferred
You have experience developing in a modern IDE
You have strong critical thinking skills, including creative development skills, requirements analysis capabilities, and proven problem-solving skills
Must be able to work effectively under deadlines and manage concurrent projects
You have the ability to take direction and work independently to creatively meet business objectives
You are well organized & dependable
You must have strong customer service experience and a customer service mindset
Preferred
It would be helpful if you have knowledge of SQL and RDBMS
Also, ERP and building industry experience is a plus but not required
If you have the ability to look into other languages such as CS that would be a big plus!
