Remote Pilot, BVLOS - USA

The Remote Pilot role involves supporting complex BVLOS operations in congested air and ground environments, requiring strong judgement and previous BVLOS experience.

Responsibilities

Conduct BVLOS missions in complex, congested areas within approved procedures
Maintain real-time situational awareness across airspace, ground risk, and GCS systems
Follow all ConOps, permissions, mitigations, and safety procedures
Carry out all pre-flight and post-flight actions
Manage data capture, mission monitoring, and escalation routes
Maintain competency and engineering authorisation standards
Support incident reporting, safety analysis, and corrective actions
Ensure all flight documentation is complete and accurate
Assist with TOLP reviews, mission planning, and site assessments
Support ROCs when missions are flown remotely
Liaise with ATC or site authorities when required

FAA Part 107BVLOS flying experienceSituational awarenessRisk managementTechnical understanding of GCS

Required

FAA Part 107
Proven BVLOS flying experience (mandatory for PANYNJ)
Experience flying in congested or controlled airspace
Strong situational awareness and risk management skills
Able to work calmly during complex flights
Good technical understanding of GCS workflows
