Responsibilities
Lead the team responsible for delivering the macOS endpoint agent
Working directly on core technology
Leading responses to events that occur in the field
Driving root causes and patches when needed
Drive design decisions around improving agent architecture
Determining areas that need to be proactively improved based on team findings
Researching and identifying emerging issues and providing appropriate responses
Working closely with Support, Sales and Quality Assurance to ensure any new issues are quickly addressed and then made a part of the ongoing releases
Qualification
Required
U.S. Citizenship is required for this position
4+ years of experience in software engineering management
6+ years of prior experience in systems and kernel development
Solid understanding of operating system fundamentals
Proven track record of successfully delivering core customer facing features
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
Experience in macOS development in user/kernel space
Experience with high performance systems
Experience with large-scale event processing systems
Objective-C, Swift programming knowledge
Experience managing customer escalations or issues requiring highly coordinated efforts to identify service restoration is a plus
