Senior LevelHoneywell is a global leader in technology and manufacturing, and they are seeking an experienced Sr. Advanced Supplier Quality Engineer to enhance supplier quality and minimize disruptions in manufacturing. The successful candidate will take ownership of the Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR) Program and drive initiatives aimed at improving supplier performance and implementing effective corrective action processes.

Responsibilities
Proactively reviews supplier capabilities, assess operational gaps to identify risks and takes systematic actions to develop a world class supplier
Is globally responsible for all supplier development, quality improvement and sustainment
Systematically drives Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations to prevent defects
Works directly with sourcing, business, engineering and our customers on strategies to improve product quality and delivery
Identifies and leads the implementation of continuous improvement projects
Are leaders creating a performance culture with our suppliers through coaching and technical engagement
Qualification
Required
Experience as a Sr. Advanced Supplier Quality Engineer
Ownership of the Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR) Program
Expertise in quality management
Ability to drive initiatives aimed at enhancing supplier performance
Experience in reducing customer escapes
Implementation of effective corrective action processes
Proactive review of supplier capabilities
Assessment of operational gaps to identify risks
Systematic actions to develop a world class supplier
Global responsibility for supplier development, quality improvement and sustainment
Driving Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations
Collaboration with sourcing, business, engineering and customers
Identification and leadership of continuous improvement projects
Creation of a performance culture with suppliers through coaching and technical engagement
Moderate travel 25-50% of the time to customer sites
