Responsibilities
Assisting with projects through planning, design, and construction phases
Conducting technical investigation and analysis of various detailed studies
Preparing reports relating to water and wastewater treatment, distribution, and conveyance infrastructure and processes
Supporting and advising project managers and technical staff in other disciplines and sections
Completing technical analysis, writing reports and technical memos
Coordinating with sub-consultants
Supporting senior staff to maintain project schedules and budgets
Producing documents in accordance with project scopes and quality program procedures
Engaging in regular contact with clients regarding ongoing projects and tasks
Managing and leading specific tasks under the direction of senior staff
Occasional field construction observation and coordination may also be required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field
Previous experience executing technical studies, analyses, and/or designing and creating plans and specifications for water focused projects
Professional Engineer (PE) license
Ability to make independent decisions and be accountable for the results
Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of a task
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Preferred
A minimum of 3 years experience executing technical studies, analyses, and/or designing and creating plans and specifications for water focused projects
Local candidates are preferred
