They are seeking a Financial Analyst to provide accounting support for their Grenada, MS and U.S. Coatings facilities, focusing on journal entries, month-end closing processes, and account reconciliations.

Responsibilities
Record monthly journal entries to ensure they are accurately reflected in the income statement and balance sheet in a timely manner
Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities and processes
Help provide internal and external audit support as required
Comply with relevant Financial Standard Practices (FSPs), policies and procedures
Support plant accounting activities as needed
Prepare balance sheet analyses and account reconciliations
Help with plant physical inventory counts and reconciliations
Become familiar with the 80/20 operating model
Complete other tasks as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
Basic Excel skills and working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
Should be flexible and able to adapt to shifting priorities
Ability to communicate effectively
Possess strong organizational skills
Preferred
0-5 years of accounting or finance experience preferred
Previous use or knowledge of SAP, BlackLine, and/or Hyperion is a plus
